Sri Sunthon
Living in Sri Sunthon
Sri Sunthon (Srisoonthorn) is the central residential sub-district of Thalang, spreading east from the Heroines Monument across a green interior of villages, lakes and new villa estates at the geographic heart of Phuket. The area has become one of the island's fastest-growing villa corridors: developers favour its generous, well-priced land, and buyers favour its position — roughly 15–20 minutes to Bang Tao and Layan beaches, about 20 minutes to the airport, and quick routes to both Phuket Town and the east-coast marinas. Families are especially well served, with UWC Thailand, HeadStart Cherngtalay and the Thalang school cluster close by, alongside Robinson Thalang, local markets and a growing café scene. Daily life here is quieter and more local than on the coast: morning runs around the lakes, weekend visits to Blue Tree water park, golf at Mission Hills and temple fairs at Wat Phra Thong. The market is dominated by modern two- to four-bedroom pool villas in gated projects, plus land plots for custom builds, at prices noticeably below neighbouring Cherng Talay. Strong demand from relocating families and long-stay tenants keeps occupancy high, and Sri Sunthon's central position underpins steady appreciation as the island grows inland.
