Nai Yang
Living in Nai Yang
Nai Yang sits inside and alongside Sirinat National Park on Phuket's north-west coast, just minutes from the international airport — a casuarina-shaded beach village that has kept the easy-going character much of the island has lost. The wide, gently shelving bay is sheltered by a reef, making it pleasant for swimming most of the year, and the beach becomes one of Phuket's kitesurfing hubs in the windy season. A sandy lane of barefoot seafood restaurants, beach bars and boutique resorts runs behind the shore, while the national park keeps the backdrop green and building heights low. Despite the relaxed feel, practicalities are excellent: the airport is five to ten minutes away, Robinson Thalang and the schools and hospitals of the Thalang corridor are within twenty minutes, and the Laguna–Bang Tao amenity belt is around twenty-five minutes south. Property focuses on low-rise condominiums near the park boundary, boutique apartment projects and pool villas in the quiet lanes toward Nai Yang town. Values remain attractive compared with the central west coast, and rental demand benefits from aircrew, frequent flyers and long-stay guests who prize airport proximity. Nai Yang suits buyers wanting beachside nature with unbeatable connectivity.
